Albert Aboulafia, MD, is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in the clinical and research aspects of cancer care, as well as the medical director of the Weinberg Cancer Institute at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. In addition to this directorship, Dr. Aboulafia leads the Division of Orthopaedic Oncology for both MedStar Health Cancer Network and MedStar Orthopaedics.

Dr. Aboulafia is a recognized leader in clinical and research aspects of the care and treatment of adult and pediatric patients with benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors. As a surgeon treating patients, he is active in academics, publications, editorial boards, research, teaching, and national and international speaking engagements, and serves in various national leadership positions within the field of orthopaedic oncology.
