He treats patients with a variety of complex, advanced cardiac conditions, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, and valvular heart diseases.

During his extensive training and clinical experience at academic medical centers, Dr. Salah has served in many leadership roles, including as director of cardiology, director of cardiac imaging center, and as member of several hospital and teaching committees.

Dr. Salah is widely published in peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include atherosclerotic plaque imaging using advanced techniques and valvular heart diseases.

As a crucial part of a team of specialized cardiologists, Dr. Salah accepts referrals for all cardiovascular conditions. He and his colleagues provide the highest level of cardiac care for patients in the Washington, D.C., region and are dedicated to creating a personalized, comprehensive approach for each patient.
