Bruce Davidson, MD, has been a faculty member of the Georgetown Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery since 1994 and has been professor and chairman of the Department since 2002. Dr. Davidson is a graduate of the Georgetown Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program, and, after completing a fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, he returned to Washington to join the faculty. He is proud to have overseen the growth in the Department over the past decade.
Dr. Bruce Davidson is an active member of Georgetown's weekly multidisciplinary head and neck tumor conference. As a head and neck surgeon, Dr. Bruce Davidson utilizes this conference to meet with radiation therapists, medical oncologists, and radiologists to discuss each new patient in detail in order to determine the best plan for treatment. Multidisciplinary care can also include speech pathology, dental oncology, and audiology, as needed. Patients currently undergoing treatment and those with complex issues in follow up are also discussed by this team of experts to ensure the highest level of care is provided.
