Emma Nally, MD, is an attending physician specializing in brain injury and stroke at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Nally received her medical degree from St. George’s University and completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at MedStar NRH/MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where she served as chief resident. She completed a fellowship in brain injury at New York University-Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation.
During her training, Dr. Nally participated in rehabilitation research testing new treatment options for traumatic brain injury and made presentations about cutting-edge clinical research that demonstrated lead toxicity from retained bullet fragments.
Dr. Nally focuses on the interdisciplinary care of patients with brain injury and stroke, working with the entire multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation experts. She provides assessment and development of comprehensive treatment plans to foster the best possible recovery.
