Esperanza Guillermety, MD, is a physiatrist at MedStar National Rehabilitation Network Irving Street outpatient Clinic. Dr. Guillermety specializes in treating patients with neuromuscular disease.
Dr. Guillermety is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She is board certified with the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Prior to MedStar NRH, Dr. Guillermety had a private rehabilitation and electro diagnosis practice in Cranbury, NJ and worked as a staff physiatrist at the University Medical Center at Princeton Rehabilitation Unit in Princeton, NJ. She received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Dr. Guillermety completed her rehabilitation residency and her fellowship in neuromuscular disease management at the Davis Medical Center at the University of California.
