Michael A. Terao, MD, practices in the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital’s Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Terao received the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinician Educator Award in 2019 and is working to develop national pediatric hematology/oncology curricula. He previously worked at the Morehouse School of Medicine where he developed board review curricula for pediatric residents. He is also a cancer survivor himself as he was diagnosed and treated when he was 20 years old.
