She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). While at MGH, she had the opportunity to serve as a visiting resident at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa, an institution famous for being the hospital where the first heart transplant took place. She later earned a Master of Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health as a Commonwealth Fund Fellow in Minority Health Policy followed by a fellowship in cardiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Philosophy of Care
“Patient-doctor communication is vital for me. I make myself readily available to patients and referring providers through phone and email. It is a privilege to partner with patients on their healthcare journey and to help them understand their cardiac risks and diagnoses. The goal is to combine exercise, diet, and stress reduction with other treatment options in order for my patients to lead healthier lives.”
