About the Provider

Syed H Shabbir, MD, a board certified, fellowship trained neurologist at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of all adult neurological disorders that involve the brain and nervous system. He strives to develop a personal rapport with every patient. Dr. Shabbir feels that by learning from his patients, he can provide better care and build rewarding, trusting relationships.

Dr. Shabbir specializes in seizure disorders but performs a wide variety of treatments for Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, headaches, migraines, and peripheral nerve conditions. He is also committed to the research and treatment of both Ischemic and Hemorrhagic stroke victims.
